The EyeCU Reading and Social Network

The EyeCU Reading and Social Network recently celebrated its 15th anniversary as a group that supports authors in profound ways. It’s not just reading for these ladies; they host authors, promote their books on social media and create events around authors and books.

It has received an NBCC Community Service Award and its founder, Ebony Evans, was a Featured Author at the 2023 NBCC with her debut novel, Dead To Me.

Now, this group of nine members has crafted a must-read anthology, Karma.

The authors (pictured above): Ebony Evans, Sassy Satanya, B. Jackson, Rhena D. Holmes, M.L. Hawkes, Tam Telling Tales, Samaraché, T. Denise and Kaylynn Hunt all live in the Detroit area.

The themes of the stories are varied, but all exciting. Here is the synopsis:

Because karma always finds a way. . .

In this gripping collection celebrating the EyeCu Reading Book Club’s milestone 15th anniversary, Karma delivers tales that simmer with justice, payback, and poetic retribution.

From quiet revenge to cosmic reckonings, each story explores the many faces of karmic fate—some bitter, some sweet, all unforgettable.

Whether it’s a cheating lover who meets his match, a corrupt boss undone by his own games, or a long-held secret finally exposed, these tales serve every twist with spine-tingling satisfaction. In the end, karma doesn’t miss.

You’ll laugh, gasp, and maybe even cheer—because karma always collects.
